FAQ

When Do You Play?

Monday nights from 6:30 PM to 9 PM ish at The Deckbox in Fletcher, NC.

How Much Does It Cost To Play?

Tickets are $10 each game. That also includes all the materials you need to play such as dice, blank or pre-made character sheets, pencils and access to the 5th edition Players Handbook (PHB). Cash is preferred as card processing is very expensive for us.

Do I Need to Know How to Play or Have Previous Experience Playing D&D?

Absolutely NOT! We welcome all experience levels. Our friendly DMs will walk you through how to play during the game. You can also find another, experienced player to guide you through what to do. Everyone here is extremely friendly and happy to help. Do not be afraid to ask questions throughout the game!

Can I Make My Own Character?

Absolutely YES! We do have a few rules for character creation:

  1. All new characters start out at level 3.
  2. Races, classes and subclasses must come from the Players Handbook (PHB) with the exceptions of: Hexblade Warlock, Tabaxi and Goblin. More races and subclasses will be unlocked as adventurers meet them during quests.
  3. Abilities must be chosen via Standard Array.
  4. You get max HP for first level and average HP for every level after that.
  5. Characters are retired after 12th level so plan accordingly.
  6. You can choose starting equipment OR gold from PHB and then purchase items from the shop table, armor and weapons in the PHB.

How Does Leveling Work in Your Campaign?

We work on a checkpoint system. Each session you play earns you one (1) checkpoint.

It takes checkpoints to level up based on the table below. It is 4 checkpoints needed per level until level 12 which requires 10 checkpoints.
